Hello! I am Jason
My name is Jason Mott, Owner and CEO of Domino Counseling Services LLC.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Michigan and a Certified Grief Educator.
I work with COR Counseling, a private group practice based in East Lansing, MI, and offer in-person and telehealth counseling services.
I provide an environment of communication, collaboration, compassion, and empowerment to help you to answer questions about, understand, and improve awareness of mental health issues you experience in your life. I will guide you to discover and embrace your individuality and uniqueness of self and knowing you are not alone. I believe there is hope and joy to be found every day and the human ability to face and learn from life’s difficulties.
I specialize in helping adolescents, adults, and elderly individuals. Physical and emotional crises impact your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors which determine how you treat yourself and others. My goal is to help you use self-compassion to learn to accept, affirm and validate yourself and discover hope, purpose, worth, direction, and joy in your life.
I am trained in the use of Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy among others, and have experience with Art and Music Therapy, and Play Therapy.
Counseling is a journey of self-discovery and change. I am a guide on this journey to help you explore, achieve, and maintain change in your life. I focus on the whole person and respect and celebrate your uniqueness. I believe we are unique parts in a global ensemble. We all have parts to play.
I attained my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness from Western Michigan University in 2019. In 2026 I became a Certified Grief Educator after completing a training program designed and led by David Kessler. Additionally, I attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Saginaw Valley State University.
